SIMRAD – DD15 POWER UNIT

The DD15 power unit from Simrad is very powerful and particularly compact. It generates virtually no friction on the helm when the pilot is disengaged.

The DD15 system has a torque of 150kg, equivalent to 150kg of thrust on a 1m bar. Designed to operate 24 hours a day, it weighs just 12kg. In addition, its power consumption is generally lower than that of hydraulic cylinders.

This motor can be used on boats from 30 to 40 feet (or on units whose maximum rudder torque does not exceed 150kg). The rudder angle sensor is mounted directly on the motor, simplifying installation.

The DD15 mechanical cylinder system from Simrad comes with integrated Feedback, but without linkage arms to allow you to adapt the length.
