SIMRAD – SD10 ROTARY CABLE UNIT – DESIGNED FOR SAILBOATS

The SD10 from Simrad is a fast, muscular power unit, capable of delivering 150 kg of thrust, with a stop-to-stop time of between 12 and 15 seconds.

The SD10 power unit can be installed in any location, with the steering cable and power unit transmitting the thrust to the bar. The cable measures 1.5 m, but other lengths are available.

The power unit has a motor and a clutch for manual steering when the pilot is disengaged. The SD10 power unit is also equipped with a force limiter and an integrated rudder angle sensor.
